Black Sumi golden Nature.
Each painting is a poem, illustrating a terrestrial or marine habitat, with a close-up view of vegetals, animals, and human beings in their everyday life. A thriving living community in its natural habitat, in town and country or sea alike.
These ‘structural moments’ of human existence in relationship with nature deeply touch me and this is what I try to express in my work, which is based on the infinite combination of ink painting (sumi-e) often enhanced by colours resulting from the dense preparation of varied pigments.
To ‘make visible’ a specific moment of Nature, whether it is daily, in its fantasy and eccentricity, real or dreamed, but always structuring, such is the meaning of my research.
Noir Sumi Or Nature.
Chaque peinture est un poème, une illustration des milieux terrestres ou marins, avec une vue rapprochée des végétaux, animaux, et êtres humains dans leur vie quotidienne. Une communauté vivante et vibrante dans son habitat naturel, à la ville, à la campagne ou dans la mer.
Ces moments structurels de l’existence humaine, dans son dialogne avec la nature, me touche profondément, ce que j’essaye d’exprimer et de partager à travers mes œuvres basées sur les combinaisons infinies du noir sumi souvent
réhaussé de couleurs obtenues à partir des pigments de toutes origines.
Rendre visible un instant spécifique de Nature, dans sa quotidienneté, sa fantaisie, et son excentricité, réelles ou rêvées mais toujours structurants, tel est le sens de ma recherche.
